    • Alabama High School Football - Baker nips Fairhope

    October 27, 2023: Mobile, AL 36608

    In Friday's league match, the host Baker Hornets football squad scored a close 21-16 victory over the Fairhope Pirates.

    In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 2. Baker will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 56-42 league win over Gardendale (Gardendale, AL).

    The Pirates (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Briarwood Christian held off Homewood (Homewood, AL), 20-13, in a league match.
