North Carolina High School Football - Bishop McGuinness succumbs to Christ the King

The Christ the King Crusaders thwarted the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains football team by a count of 31-22 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Christ the King upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 6-4. Hayesville won 14-6 in their recent league outing against Andrews (Andrews, NC)

With the loss, Bishop McGuinness moves to 5-5 on the season. The Villains host South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to encounter the Sauras in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3. The Sauras go into the outing with a record of 2-8. South Stokes lost 70-6 in their recent league outing against Starmount (Boonville, NC)
