The North Pike Jaguars football team (Summit, MS), was tipped 13-9 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS)

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region 3 challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Natchez nipped Provine (Jackson, MS), 30-18, in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Jones for a 5A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, November 2. North Pike will meet a Braves team coming off a 42-7 league loss to Florence (Florence, MS). The Braves record now stands at 2-8.
