In Friday's league game, the John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) football team knocked off the visiting Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA), by a score of 26-7.
The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars come into the 5A District 9 game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Edna Karr toppled Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), 39-31, in a league game.
