Oklahoma High School Football - Putnam City crushed by Choctaw

In Friday's league game, the Choctaw Yellowjackets (Choctaw, OK) football team smashed the visiting Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK), by a score of 65-20.

The Yellowjackets (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Ponca City (Ponca City, OK). The Wildcats come into the 6A-II District 2 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Ponca City overwhelmed Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK), 56-0, in a league game.

The Pirates now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Classen for a 6A-II District 2 game on Thursday, November 2. Putnam City will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-0 league loss to Ponca City (Ponca City, OK). The Knights record now stands at 1-8.
