In their next game, the Volunteers face the Fort Dale Academy Eagles (Greenville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 2. Monroe Academy will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 35-22 non-league win over Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL).

The Gators (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Edgewood Academy was toppled by Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL), 35-6, in a non-league bout.
