In Friday's league match, the visiting Clifton Cubs football squad scored a close 22-16 victory over the Elkhart Elks.

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX) in a 3A-2 Region IV District 13 match, on Friday, November 3. Clifton will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 0-9 record after their 48-7 league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, TX).
