The Columbus Falcons football team (Columbus, MS), was knocked off 36-24 in Friday's league challenge with the host Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS)
The Gators (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans come into the 6A Region 2 challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeland was knocked off by Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 40-0, in a league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Central for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Friday, November 3. Columbus will meet a Vikings team coming off a 27-20 league win over Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.
