The Early College Hornets football team (Dover, DE), was tipped 30-26 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Conrad Science Red Wolves (Wilmington, DE)

The Red Wolves (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Indians come into the 1A District 2 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Indian River nipped St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE), 42-7, in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host First State Military Academy for a 1A District 2 challenge on Friday, November 3. Early College will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-7 league win over Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
