Texas High School Football - Denver City overwhelms Lamesa

October 27, 2023: Lamesa, TX 79331

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) and the host Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), observed Denver City's football squad bounce Lamesa by a count of 47-6.

The Mustangs now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Kermit for a 3A-1 Region I District 1 contest on Friday, November 3. Denver City will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 26-7 league loss to Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-8.
