The Verdigris Cardinals football squad scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Dewey Bulldoggers to 6 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inola for a 3A District 4 battle on Thursday, November 2. Verdigris will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 49-8 league loss to Cascia Hall (Tulsa, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-7.
