In Friday's league game, the Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) football team smashed the visiting Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), by a score of 51-18.
The Cardinals (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Unity Reed (Manassas, VA). The Lions come into the Western game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Unity Reed overwhelmed Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA), 47-0, in a league game.
