Texas High School Football - Gilmer overwhelms Spring Hill

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the host Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX), observed Gilmer's football squad bounce Spring Hill by a count of 59-13.

The Buckeyes now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Pittsburg for a 4A-2 Region II District 7 contest on Friday, November 3. Gilmer will play a Pirates squad coming off a 33-21 league loss to Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a 4A-2 Region II District 7 contest, on Friday, November 3. Spring Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 9-0 record after their 56-6 league win over North Lamar (Paris, TX).
