The Grimsley Whirlies walloped the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks football team by a count of 49-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Grimsley upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Whirlies host North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, November 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-5. North Mecklenburg won 34-8 in their recent league test against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

With the loss, Northern Guilford drops to 4-6 on the campaign.
