The Guyer Wildcats football team (Denton, TX), was beaten 37-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX)

The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Prosper achieved victory over Allen (Allen, TX), 37-36, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Hill for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Thursday, November 2. Guyer will meet a Blue Hawks team coming off a 28-17 league win over Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 3-6.
