Maryland High School Football - Gwynn Park smashes Largo

October 27, 2023: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774

The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) football routed the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD), 42-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Gwynn Park will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 26-7 non-league win over Northern (Owings, MD).

With the loss, Largo drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to confront the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, November 3. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Lackey lost 40-13 in their recent league test against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
