The Mandeville Skippers football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Hammond Tornadoes to 6 in the Skippers league win on Friday.

The Skippers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Covington for a 5A District 6 battle on Friday, November 3. Mandeville will play a Lions squad coming off a 22-21 league win over Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.

Coming up next, the Tornadoes play the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a 5A District 6 battle, on Friday, November 3. Hammond will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Green Wave go into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 20-19 league loss to St. Paul's (Covington, LA).
