Texas High School Football - Hanks held off by Parkland

In Friday's league game, the Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) football team tipped the visiting Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), by a score of 38-34.

The Matadors (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions come into the 5A-1 Region I District 1 game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Horizon was tipped by Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 54-0, in a league game.

The Knights now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ysleta for a 5A-1 Region I District 1 game on Friday, November 3. Hanks will battle a Indians team coming off a 27-16 league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-5.
