    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) and the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), observed Holmdel's football squad defeat Matawan Regional by a count of 21-7.

    The Hornets now own a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Camden for a non-league contest on Friday, November 3. Holmdel will play a Panthers squad coming off a 27-7 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.
