The Orange County Fighting Hornets football team (Orange, VA), was tipped 27-22 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA)

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the Jefferson challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Fluvanna County was tipped by Goochland (Goochland, VA), 7-6, in a league challenge.

The Fighting Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson challenge on Sunday, October 29. Orange County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 35-14 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-8.
