Louisiana High School Football - Northwest trounces Ville Platte

In Friday's league match, the host Northwest Raiders football squad scored a big 42-8 victory over the Ville Platte Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a 3A District 4 match, on Friday, November 3. Northwest will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Demons enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 38-6 league win over Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA).

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Oberlin routed Gueydan (Gueydan, LA), 43-0, in a league match.
