Georgia High School Football - Pickens gets by White County

October 27, 2023: Cleveland, GA 30528

The Pickens Dragons football squad scored 39 points and restricted the host White County Warriors to 37 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.

The Dragons now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wesleyan for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, November 3. Pickens will play a Wolves squad coming off a 49-21 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-3.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a AAA Region 7 battle, on Friday, November 3. White County will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 31-24 league win over Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA).
