In Friday's non-league game, the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) football team were victorious over the visiting Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), by a score of 49-26.
The Governors (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Arrows come into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Watertown knocked off Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 42-17, in a non-league game.
The Spartans now sport a 4-6 record.
