The Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) football edged the visiting Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE), 22-21 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE) in a 1A District 2 bout, on Friday, November 3. Polytech will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 27-7 league loss to First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE).
The Bluejays (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE). The Cardinals enter the 1A District 2 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, St. Andrew's was nudged by Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 42-7, in a league bout.
