The West Valley Eagles football team (Cottonwood, CA), was ripped 56-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA)
The Cubs (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Lassen trounced Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA), 41-0, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yreka for a challenge on Friday, November 3. West Valley will meet a Miners team coming off a 18-7 league win over University Prep (Redding, CA). The Miners record now stands at 8-1.
