The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs football team (San Jose, CA), was tipped 16-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA)
The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres come into the challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Serra nipped Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 17-0, in a league challenge.
The Monarchs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Christian for a challenge on Friday, November 3. Archbishop Mitty will meet a Warriors team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
