The Glenbrook North Spartans held off the visiting Palatine Pirates soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Spartans now sport a 20-3 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 31. Glenbrook North will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Palatine drops to 20-1 on the season.
