The Apex Cougars walloped the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs flag football team by a score of 34-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 29. Apex will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Catamounts go into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 13-12 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC).
The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Spartans go into the challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Sanderson was ripped by Cary (Cary, NC), 12-7, in a league challenge.
