In Monday's non-league outing, the host Southern Boone Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Sacred Heart Gremlins.

The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Smithton (Smithton, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Smithton was edged by St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO), 4-1, in a non-league test.

The Gremlins now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fatima for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 28. Sacred Heart will clash with a Comets team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Osage (Kaiser, MO). The Comets record now stands at 4-7.
