North Carolina High School Football - Albemarle drops to North Stanly

October 28, 2022: Albemarle, NC 28001

In Friday's league game, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) football team knocked off the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), by a final score of 44-27.

The Comets (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks come into the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Monroe toppled Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 21-19, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league game on Friday, November 4. Albemarle will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-12 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
