North Carolina High School Football - West Stanly succumbs to Anson

October 28, 2022: Wadesboro, NC 28170

The Anson Bearcats thwarted the visiting West Stanly Colts football team by a count of 35-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Anson upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bearcats travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, November 4. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 10-0. East Surry won 55-0 in their recent league outing against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)

With the loss, West Stanly moves to 3-7 on the season.
