The Brennan Bears walloped the visiting Holmes Huskies football team by a final score of 56-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Brennan improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Jay (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Thursday, November 3. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Jay won 14-13 in their recent league outing against Taft (San Antonio, TX)

With the loss, Holmes moves to 0-9 on the season. The Huskies host O'Connor (Helotes, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, November 4. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 3-6. O'Connor won 38-21 in their recent league outing against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX)
