The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) and the host Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE), observed Cedar Catholic's football squad defeat Mitchell by a count of 44-14.

The Trojans now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Malcolm for a non-league contest on Friday, November 4. Cedar Catholic will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 64-17 non-league win over Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE). The Clippers record now stands at 10-0.
