In Friday's league game, the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) football team were victorious over the visiting Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS), by a score of 35-7.

The Golden Wave (10-0) will now prepare for their game against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region 2 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Germantown was knocked off by Starkville (Starkville, MS), 46-14, in a league game.
