The East Poinsett County Warriors football team (Lepanto, AR), was tipped 52-50 in Friday's league challenge with the host Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR)

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McCrory (McCrory, AR). The Jaguars come into the 2A Region 2 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, McCrory nipped Lee (Marianna, AR), 48-0, in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marked Tree for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Friday, November 4. East Poinsett County will meet a Indians team coming off a 44-6 league win over Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Indians record now stands at 8-1.
