In Friday's league match, the host Fremont Firebirds football squad scored a good 35-13 victory over the Mills Vikings.

In their next game, the Firebirds clash with the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 4. Fremont will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 49-6 league loss to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).

The Vikings (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Capuchino dropped by San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 42-30, in a league match.
