Virginia High School Football - West Stokes topped by Galax

The West Stokes Wildcats football team (King, NC), was beaten 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA)

The Maroon Tide (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the Mountain Empire challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Grayson County was beaten by George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 27-22, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Lake Prep for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 4. West Stokes will meet a Pride team coming off a 28-10 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Pride record now stands at 9-1.
