The Gilmer Buckeyes walloped the visiting Spring Hill Panthers football team by a count of 54-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Gilmer upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Buckeyes travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a 4A-2 Region II District 7 outing on Friday, November 4. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Pittsburg lost 41-30 in their recent league outing against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX)

With the loss, Spring Hill moves to 1-8 on the season. The Panthers host Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX) to encounter the Hawks in a 4A-2 Region II District 7 outing on Friday, November 4.
