Virginia High School Football - Gretna trounces Tunstall

October 28, 2022: Dry Fork, VA 24549

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Gretna Hawks football squad scored a big 40-6 victory over the Tunstall Trojans.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood match, on Friday, November 4. Gretna will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Governors enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 64-20 league loss to Altavista (Altavista, VA).

The Trojans (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets enter the Piedmont match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Halifax County was crushed by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 35-13, in a league match.
