Georgia High School Football - Wilkinson County sneaks past Hancock Central

October 28, 2022: Sparta, GA 31087

The Wilkinson County Warriors football squad scored 12 points and restricted the host Hancock Central Bulldogs to 8 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glascock County for a A D2 Region 5 battle on Friday, November 4. Wilkinson County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 49-28 league loss to Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs face the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 battle, on Friday, November 4. Hancock Central will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 9-0 record after their 61-7 league win over Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA).
