In Friday's league match, the host Rockbridge County Wildcats football squad scored a good 44-23 victory over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a Valley match, on Friday, November 4. Rockbridge County will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 44-21 non-league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
The Blue Streaks (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers enter the Valley match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Spotswood thwarted Broadway (Broadway, VA), 25-0, in a league match.
