Virginia High School Football - Hopewell beat Matoaca

The Hopewell Blue Devils football squad scored 27 points and restricted the host Matoaca Warriors to 17 in the Blue Devils league victory on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince George for a Central battle on Friday, November 4. Hopewell will face a Royals squad coming off a 40-16 league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Royals record now stands at 1-8.

Coming up next, the Warriors face the Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) in a Central battle, on Friday, November 4. Matoaca will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Monarchs enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 50-12 league loss to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA).
