Texas High School Football - Queen City drops to Hughes Springs

In Friday's league game, the Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), by a score of 50-20.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A-2 Region III District 11 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Waskom was dropped by Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX), 32-14, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host New Diana for a 3A-2 Region III District 11 game on Friday, November 4. Queen City will battle a Eagles team coming off a 13-8 league loss to Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
