    The Jim Ned Indians topped the visiting Vernon Lions football team by a final score of 28-7 in Friday's league outing.

    With the win, Jim Ned improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX) to confront the Hawks in a 3A-1 Region I District 3 outing on Friday, November 4. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Iowa Park won 44-7 in their recent league outing against Clyde (Clyde, TX)

    With the loss, Vernon moves to 5-4 on the season. The Lions host Bowie (Bowie, TX) to confront the Jackrabbits in a 3A-1 Region I District 3 outing on Friday, November 4. The Jackrabbits go into the outing with a record of 1-8. Bowie lost 33-0 in their recent league outing against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX)
