Virginia High School Football - Poquoson drops to Lafayette

In Friday's league game, the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) football team knocked off the visiting Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA), by a score of 42-15.
The Rams (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions come into the Bay Rivers game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Warhill toppled York (Yorktown, VA), 32-7, in a league game.
The Islanders now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Grafton for a Bay Rivers game on Friday, November 4. Poquoson will battle a Clippers team coming off a 31-14 league win over Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 5-4.
