In Friday's league game, the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) football team smashed the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), by a final score of 52-20.

The Jaguars (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Everman (Everman, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A-2 Region II District 5 game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Everman overwhelmed Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 52-3, in a league game.

The Cougars now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burleson for a 5A-2 Region II District 5 game on Friday, November 4. Seguin will battle a Elks team coming off a 28-17 league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Elks record now stands at 2-7.
