In Friday's non-league game, the Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA) football team knocked off the host Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), by a score of 22-0.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA). The Red Devils come into the AAAA Region 6 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Druid Hills was dropped by Lakeside (Atlanta, GA), 24-0, in a non-league game.
The Knights now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league game on Friday, November 4. Midtown will battle a Knights team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Clarkston (Clarkston, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.
