California High School Football - Montgomery felled by Rancho Cotate

The Montgomery Vikings football team (Santa Rosa, CA), was knocked off 34-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA)

The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA). The Panthers come into the North Bay - Oak challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Santa Rosa was knocked off by Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA), 49-14, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Analy for a North Bay - Oak challenge on Friday, November 4. Montgomery will meet a Tigers team coming off a 51-30 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
