The West Shamokin Wolves held off the visiting North Star Cougars football team by a count of 41-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Shamokin upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Richland (Johnstown, PA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league outing on Friday, November 4. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 10-0. Richland won 52-26 in their recent league outing against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)

With the loss, North Star moves to 4-6 on the season.
