The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the visiting Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), observed Staples's football squad bounce Norwalk by a count of 56-7.

The Wreckers now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Westhill for a Fairfield County - West contest on Friday, November 4. Staples will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 46-32 non-league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a Fairfield County - East contest, on Friday, November 4. Norwalk will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
